Constant (the digit 1), along with beep, running on my computer.

I have a toshiba pavillion, 3, using a external monitor and wired keyboard. It has started filling in every thing that requires an input, with the number 1. It starts on boot. I can safe boot, but most of time it starts again once i have to fill in info, just runs the number 1 and beeps continious. I have removed external keyboard with no diff. Tried restore with no luck. No luck with viris scans. It went away for a while, then came back.

Have you checked the keyboard to see if the "1" key is stuck? Has anything been spilled on the keyboard?
