Constant unknown notification sounds

I'm getting constant notification sounds that sound like 2 key stroke piano notes indicating an attempt at something failed.

Windows did a big update last night maybe that?

I have no idea how to go about solving this.

Try a system restore to a point just behind the updates. Windows should automatically create a restore point before it updates!If that cures the beeps then update a few updates at a time tesing for beeps as you go. Try to locate the offending update by a process of elimination.
