Contact importing

Using Office 2003. I've used this program while going through a series of computers, my newest being a Win 7 model. Getting my contacts to work properly & well always seems to be such a headache. Can I export them to my wife's Win 7 laptop and then export them from there to my new Win 7 machine when I'm ready?

Using Office 2003. I've used this program while going through a series of computers, my newest being a Win 7 model. Getting my contacts to work properly & well always seems to be such a headache. Can I export them to my wife's Win 7 laptop and then export them from there to my new Win 7 machine when I'm ready?

From the "File" menu, "Import and Export" you can save them as a text file and then import them back in. (I'm using Office 2007, but I believe that it is the same for Office 2003.)
