Contacts missing in WLM, but they re online in email.

Hello everyone, i ave a strange problem with my Windows Live Messenger (2011). When i loggin into mail.live.com nd sing on web i see all people online there and i can talk to them. But when i log into WLM there are only 15 contacts and none of them is online, even if they are on the web based chat (in the email). I use Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and the newest WLM (updated). Can anyone help here?

So you are trying to see your contacts as online in mail
the same as you see them online in Messenger?
Is that what you are after?

Not quite understanding the question- could you maybe rephrase
(ummm - if you actually stay for an answer - lol)

Only 15 Contacts appear in WLM nd they re all ofline.
When i log into email i see 10 people online (web msn).

I wont all contacts in WLM, got it now?

in your WLM contacts list?

in your WLM contacts list?

The solution seems to be to uninstall and then re-install WLM

That solution doesn t work, anyone else?

Your trying to tell me you uninstalled and re-installed the software in like
a minute? Gee- you must have some mighty fast broadband speed where you are mate!

So check the link I have provided in post #4 as this relates to
your problem. It is a known issue and it looks like you will need
to uninstall and re-install the software due to corruption.
If there is another solution, I do not know of it.

If you type a search into Dr. Google such as "only some contacts appear online in WLM"
you are gonna get 272000 results in 0.27 seconds. Browse over some of them
and if you find a better solution than uninstalling and re-installing please let me know.

anyone else? how to delete the cache, or do i ave to format it?
