Control Panel - Add or Remove from Desktop Context Menu

How to Add or Remove "Control Panel" from Desktop Context Menu in Windows


   Information
This will show you how to add or remove Control Panel from the desktop right click context menu for all users on the computer in Windows 7 and Windows 8.

You will only be able to do this while logged in as an administrator.

Here's How:
1. Do step 2 or 3 below for what you would like to do.

2. To Add "Control Panel" to Desktop Context Menu
A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 4 below.

3. To Remove "Control Panel" from Desktop Context Menu
NOTE: This is the default setting.
A) Click/tap on the Download button below to download the file below, and go to step 4 below.

4. Save the REG file to your desktop.

5. Double click/tap on the REG file to merge it.

6. If prompted, double click/tap on Run, Yes (UAC), Yes, and OK to approve the merge.

7. When done, you can delete the downloaded .reg file if you like.

8. Right click on your desktop to see the change.

My Desktop is in a custom built airflow casing over the case. I still have the power button available etc . but the rest is cool controlled cold air going through the in and theoretically hot air out of the out. But it never gets hot enough for hot air to come out :-P
