Controller board for display LP156WH2(TP)(B1)

Hey guys,

I want to use an old laptop panel as external display, but can't find a working display controller anywhere.
The panel is the model LP156WH2(TP)(B1).
I ordered one for a LP156WH2, but then realized it was for *(TL)(A1) and not *(TP)(B1).

Do you have any ideas on how I can find a display controller that works with my panel?

I looked on google, but found only controller boards that listed various panels except for mine.
I actually bought the first one (wrong one) from the seller you linked to.

Now the problem is, the controller you linked doesn't list my panel either. So how do I know it will work, or why do you suspect it will work?

I suspect it will work because it is listed as a controller for model LP156WH2(TP)(B1). I would get in touch with the seller and find out if it is really compatible, or if he/she is just throwing numbers out hoping to sell to anyone.

I have no way of knowing for sure if it will work, other than the seller is suggesting that it is the right model. I just provided the link that I found.

...Ok maybe I'm blind, but I can't see it listen there. Only LP156WH2 *with other suffixes*, which bit me in the butt already :/
