CONVERT AUDIO FIlES

Hey. i have got a lot of flac files,should i keep them or should i transform them to mp3 or waw or another format,and if that is the case what program should i use for this process,advice needed

flac is a lossless compression format, and can be played with wmp and wmc with the right codec installed. If you convert to mp3 you may lose a small amount of quality, but gain a lot of space. You also have to 'jump through hoops to get the flac files to show in your library. Have a look at this program for conversion... http://www.flacmp3.net/down/flac2mp3.exe

HEY DMHOLT57 thanks for the advice.but i was wondering if i should keep the flac files the way they are witch i would prefer since i have got 3 media players installed(wmp 12,vlc and winamp) and a expansion drive (1800gb).then what codecs should i use and what media player should be my nr 1.KIND REGARDS ASSER:confused:

Personally, I use 'Media Player Classic" It plays all audio/video files I've thrown at it + I get the Klite Codec pack.. I never open any other audio/video file player.
