Hi to start with I am 87 and writing a novel during covid period. I am not all that computer literate. I am well and truly into the novel. My computer crashed and I lost my backup USB. I copied the hard copy I had (about 200 pages) into PDF form and then used a conversion program to put the document into word via an OCR (I think was the name of the program) so that word could read it. However some of the original document was in light blue and did not survive the conversion. However the light blue section seems to be there in hidden form and forces me to use one line at the top of the page one in the middle and then onto the next page and keeps going like that from page to page. How do I get rid of the hidden text or whatever it is. I have "Word for Dummies 2010" but can't find anything there to help. Have also tried deleting page as set out in book but that seems to want to delete the whole chapter, several pages. Any suggestions?
thanks Mick Arnold
