What program are you using to monitor the temps?

Okay lets start off with this. Once done your specs will follow every post of yours.

If the temps you are getting are correct readings things are good. I like to use more than one program to compare. I personally on my Asus motherboard and older i7-960 had no luck using the Asus AL suit. That problem might be fixed by now.
Here is a couple I use. You must watch closely so you don't get any little add ons with the downloads.

Real Temp - CPU temperature monitoring

HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

Another nice program to stress your computer for testing is Prim95. Not necessary to use if you are running at default bios settings. (Not over clocked)

Free Software - GIMPS

Yes you are running cool as per the specs you posted.

If you notice Real Temp will also show you the load your computer is under at the time you are watching the temps; very handy.
Thank you for posting your specs. You can change them when needed just by ticking My System Specs in your own post. Again very handy.
Take a look at my specs in my post and it will give you a idea of handy information that can be added.

This should be helpful from Intel.

Really? so 50C on CPU during playin SWTOR game are normal using this cooler? i though my temperature should have been like 30, like the mobo.

Again im not OC.

BTW a Cooler master representative (which i dont trust) told me should be below 40.

You CPU temps will never be as cool as the motherboard while the computer is running. Two things create the most heat, CPU and GPU on a proper working computer.

Did you read the Intel site I posted?
I don't know how CoolMaster could give such a flat statement because no two cpu's run the exact temps. Not ever if they are the same part number.
You also must take into consideration the ambient temps.

Hello Serdal Aksun,

Your processor has a TCase value of 67.4°C; anything from the Tcase and below will be the expected temperature of the chip in normal use

When the processor is stressed out meaning that you are running heavy processor applications the temperature will go beyond the Tcase ( reach 80 to 85 degrees Celsius) and the processor will still be OK. The cooling fan is in charge to keep that temperature there.

If the processor temperature reaches 100 degrees Celsius or more it will send a signal to the motherboard to shut down to prevent mayor damages (overheating).

Regards.

Sorry, yes i read all this time and downloaded real temp, then i must be ok, thank you very much for your help.

Those guys at coolermaster support doesnt know anything, they told me i should be below 40C on cpu load. :sarc:

Another small suggestion.
Make a note in you motherboard manual of your temp and what load your computer has now for reference.
Every now and again monitor temps and load so you can compare. I like to monitor temps on a new computer more often just to check if things are still okay.
If the new cpu Intel chips are like the older chips they never did read low temps all that accurate. Intel didn't really need to monitor the temps on the low end but surly wanted to monitor the high temps.
