Hi guys

I have a concert on DVD that I'd like to be able to copy the soundtrack off onto CD so I can listen to it in the car.

Everyone tells me Windows 7 is magic and can do anything! Well, can it do this? If so, how please?

Cheers,
Gaz

Forget about using an external soundcard, and forget about Windows 7 being "magic" (although I have to admit it is 'magical' ;) ). You can do what you want, but you'll have to get your hands a bit dirty and rip the DVD to extract the soundtrack.

Just google for the following terms: "rip dvd concert audio" - you'll find quite a few guides on exactly how to do it.
