Corrupt disk (even after three installs!)

For my Windows 7 installs, after about two days the W7 partition eventually becomes corrupt (see this thread, 3rd post, for similar pictures: http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/1468-corrupt-disk-help.html). No disk check of any kind finds any errors or fixes anything (chkdsk, a few 3rd party disk checking tools).

Oddly enough, my Vista partition has been fine the whole time, and it's survived 3 corrupt Windows 7 installs (and W7 partition wipes).

I've got a laptop running Windows 7 for weeks, but for some reason I cannot keep a W7 installation on my desktop running for more than a few days!

Try disabling your hard drive write cache. Device manager > disk drives > properties > policies.
