Hey guys I have messed up my internal sd card on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S)

I partitioned it with paragon partition manager (Fat32) and now it is corrupt... after formatting it through the phone menu.... windows no longer recognises the internal sd card.. it shows up but it is 'greyed out' so you cant click on it... :(

Just spoken to someone @ a Samsung service centre... he said it "sounds like a software fault and I will reflash the phone for you"..

Thing is I have done this literally 50 times with Odin... still no luck...

obviously I did not tell him this..

but he then said "if it is a hardware fault... we will send it to Samsung who will either fix it or send you a new one"..

hmmm ... but I am going on holiday for 2 weeks this tuesday... I need my phone

Did you set any password on the card, when you used it on the phone?

Hey mate. Thanks for the reply.

You were correct in saying the internal memory si fine. I got a call from the Samsung repair centre and they reflashed the firmware (which I did many times through odin  ) and they say it works now.

I shall go and collect it tomorrow.

Thank you so much to all the people that read and posted in this thread in orderr to help me.

I will try and return the favour one day :p

Great! In the future, dont go around formatting in windows. Also, dont format unless it starts misbehaving, you can just delete files.
