You are correct kbrady1979.
I have been chasing my tail thinking a fan is a fan, a radiator is a radiator and a pump is a pump. Thinking this way I probably got the OP more confused.
I don't believe a pump should be running that fast. It could cause cavitation at that rpm. I will just wait and see what Corsair tells the OP.

My error is in thinking because that the cable i attached to the sys fan header came from the rad and not the cpu cooler, you can see where i was coming from now.

After a little research, i think ive been sold the V1 version. The v2 runs at 2k rpm, and has the cable connected to the cpu cooler whereas mine ,im certain, im positive is attached to the rad. When i open the case i will know for sure.

Update, Took back to retailer who tested and said was fine. I enquired about the high rpm he said attach to amolex fan connector. But it wouldnt work when i did that, yet a fan does. So reconnected to sys fan header as the cpu was going close to 80 C. Then i got a response off corsair, who told me due to the bios multiplier in some mobo it is possible to see rpm of 4K/4400. So thats 1 issue solved, another is now how do i suffocate the fan and rad noise/vibrations to keep quieter. Im using a corsair quiet edition fan. When the cpu cooler wasnt working the fan was silent or rather no case noise.
Any guidance

Yes dump the corsairs for Noctua's or add a speed controller for the fans and or resistors like the Noctua's come with but don't need as they are so quiet.

The thing is i got the twin pack of corsairs, 1 you cant hear but the one with the rad is definitely vibration noise with the rad. Im looking at it if i get a noctua will there be no vibration noise?

Well then something is loose or needs isolation. You can try some longer screws and place a small rubber O'ring between the rad and the case and the fan and the rad. Don't over tighten and see if that helps. It may be something else in the case vibrating as well so check to see just where the noise is coming from. Noctua's are smooth and quiet as can be.

I will try the o ring first as thats what i planned on doing. I think the rad is resonating the sound of the blades rotating so if i can distance slightly by couple of mm it should help. I do like the spec of them fans though.

I sound like a broken record but I will only use Noc's in my builds. It's so nice not having to speed control fans just run them at full tilt and nary a whisper. I just ordered these new bad boys just to have for a NZXT Kraken I have my eyes on.

This could also be real handy as it won't allow air to escape so it moves through the rad the best.

A little trick I use for vibration. Have you ever wanted a small but yet some what thick rubber washer.

Don't laugh now but I know where to get them free.

Places that install new car tires. They normally replace the valve stem also. Inside every valve cap (they throw away) is a very high quality neoprene/rubber washer you can remove. They will fit over small bolts and screws and stay there. You can mount fan and lot of things using them.
Just ask the tire place to save you a little bag of old valve stem caps.

This is true. I used to have a sack full of them that I used on quite a few things, but I can't find them now.
