Could not connect to net: Error 6

Anyone could help me? I have HP Pavilion dv6 with W7, bought in Slovenia where I was living, I am now in Romania. I was able to connect wireless where I was living before and in Slovenia was working normaly with the cable connection. On the new address here in Romania I have problems with the connection, the cable connection doesn't work, it continuosly giving this error 6. I think are just some settings to be done but which, as the guys from the provider were unable to solve it. Anyone could help? Tks

You might want to do an ipconfig release and renew, here's how. If that didn't work, find a working computer and do an ipconfig /all, post it here, then we'll assign Static IPs to your computer.
