Hey all.
I recently upgraded to Win7 from Vista. Suddenly, after the upgrade, my CD-DVD burner no longer burns cds (and i assume it no longer burns dvd, though i haven't checked). However, it can still read CD's and play DVD's with no problems. It just can't write.
I checked and the drivers are all up-to-date and the only thing that has changed with my PC is that it was upgraded to Win7. It seems too hard to believe that the drive would just out of the blue stop being able to write.
Now, I've noticed that Dell has a newer BIOS available for my board. Is it possible that this is a BIOS related issue?
Thanks in advance folks,
Eamon
