Hey folks,

After installing Windows 7 (64 bit) I'm having some odd problems with cs 1.6 and BF Heroes.

CS 1.6:

Steam works fine, but when I load CS it cuts of the sides of my monitor (Samsung T240) and leaves them black. I've never encountered a problem like that, so I'm open to any suggestion.

BF Heroes:
Same thing happens to the sides of the screen, but here I can see that the graphics are poor as well (all pixilated)

- So to test if there was anything wrong with my Nvidia drivers I installed FarCry2 (quickly installed :) ) and set everything to Ultra Hig. But everything ran smoothly and looked sharp as it should.

Help! :(

you have a widescreen you need to change the screen rez in the game, got to video and look for something that says resolution 16:4 and and change it to a higher setting sorry im doing this off the top of my head and dont remember the correct numbers you might have to go into advance. I will post better directions when i get home to a computer that has the game loaded.

also read this post it is the same type of issue
