Counter strike source and 1.6 not working

Hey i just downloaded source and 1.6 trhough steam. i am running windows 7 64 bit. my video card is stock, something with intel...... but i don't think that's the problem. When i open up source it runs good... the main screen pops up any every thing is o.k... but once i get into getplay things get really glitchy.... objects start changing colour, i can't see myself or other players and things are like streaking acros the screen.

AND THEN.... when i open up 1.6 a black screen just comes up and i could hear the sound scrolling over the options but i can't see anything.
I ran 1.6 on my old computer with XP and it worked perfectly fine so i know it's something wrong with 7 or maymbe some hardware problems...

Can someone please help??????

If you ran those two games in XP with the same computer that you now have then, the only thing I can recommend you to do is:

1.- Download Fresh Copies (read: updated) of your Audio and Video Drivers

2.- Uninstall both of them, restart and install new drivers.

System specs would greatly help in answering your question. And if you have a stock Intel video card, that could very well be the problem.

Solution: Uninstall CS, upgrade PC, Download CoD4 FTW
