Hi guys,

So I've gone from 7057 -> 7077 (IMO best build) -> 7127 -> 7201 -> 7232 -> and now moving onto the RTM. Here's a couple questions.

1) If I run the windows file transfer on 64 bit, will it still load my files and settings if I install 32 bit?

2) I know this has been asked numerous times but since I don't do a lot of video editing, barely any, is 64 bit really useful? The major downside for 64 bit on my end is it doesn't recognize my printer (I've tried everything) but 32 bit does. Does 32 bit use 3 gigs of ram or 3.5?

3) Will my games like Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike Source, NFS, TDU, etc. perform better under 32 bit or 64 bit?

4) Does the 64 bit version run more processes on a clean install than a 32 bit clean install? If so, can I ask why?

5) I don't need all the extra features 7 professional and ultimate offer, so am I fine with home premium?

6) Is 64 bit a little more secure than 32 bit?

I think that's about it.

Thanks!!!

1) No Clue, sorry.

2) IMO x64 is the future. If u want to update your RAM to more <= 4 GB Ram you should stick to x64. How much is recognized of the other devices your using like graphic card and other things that were used by default. x86 can adress only 4 GB of Ram.. but some bandwith is reserved for PCI,PCIe, AGP whatever.

3) In all tests that i read there is no noticable difference in FPS. Most times it was something like 1-3 fps lower on x64. But if u use <= 4GB RAM you will have much better loading times.. the tests i read were from Vista and XP.

4) Dont think that there is a difference, but im not sure.

5) If you don't need all the features of the other Version, you re definetly fine with the Home Premium Version. I personally will stick to the Professional because i want to use the XP Virtualization.

6) I never heard / read that there is difference in security! so -> NO

Windows 7

Can you legally get the RTM already?

I have the Wzor version. If anyone else could post a quick reply to my questions here that'd be great!
