Solved CPU Cooler compatability

Does anyone know if an 1155 socket compatible CPU cooler will work on an 1150 socket Z87 motherboard? I recently purchased an ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO LGA 1150 Intel Z87 and a Intel Core i5-4670K Haswell. I was planning on getting a COOLER MASTER GeminII Low Profile CPU Cooler and I was wondering if it would be compatable? Any help would be most welcome as I need to get my CPU cooler next month when I order the last remaining items for my gaming rig build

From what I have read it should work, only the pins have changed not the mounting specs. Maybe someone else know for sure.

Spook this pic is off the Intel site specs for the 1155 heat spreader if the 1150 CPU measures the same you should be good to go
