CPU Fan error press f1

Hi all,sorry if post already exists but just need some quick advice.I have a rampage III Formule motherboard from asus and have recently installed a cpu cooler (deep cool tigershark) but SOMETIMES during startup the motherboard makes 3 loud beeps and gives an error-(cpu fan error press f1 to resume)after pressing f1 it starts up normaly.The cpu cooler is installed correcktly,the fan works perfecktly it has the thermalpaste and all the needed stuf on and the fan is plugged in the motherboard(where it says cpu fan,there are other places to plug it in but they read temp. and on)So i went on goolgle and someone posted i should check in the bios and change fan speed or something like that.Now please advice on what to do to fix the error.Thanx....O and the temps. read 40c when its pretty hot outsode and on a cold day it drops to 32-35c

If the fan is working properly and is plugged into the proper place on the mobo - then it's gotta be either a BIOS problem or a motherboard problem.

So, I'd first suggest plugging in another fan. That'll check to be sure that there's no damage to the fan that's preventing the BIOS from recognizing it. Also, reset the BIOS to default/fail safe values.

Once that's done, it's either a BIOS flash (be very, very careful) or a problem with the mobo.
If the flash doesn't fix it, then you're looking at trying another motherboard (not fun!).

Thanx usaama,but it is a new motherboard,and it only does it sometimes...O,and when i install the stock cpu fan,it gives no problem,was thinking of replacing the cpu faan with a "non smart" constant 2000rpm fan...What you think?

Try it with the "non smart" constant 2000rpm fan. See how it responds. Use the smart fan on a different fan socket on the mobo to make sure it works fine/stable.

Will try it,as soon as i can get the fan that gives the most airflow and cooling that you can buy.Maybe Coolermaster or shark...
