Hi.
I bhought a new graphic card ATI Radeon HD 5750 about week ago and now I suspect that it make my CPU AMD Phenom II x2 550 overheat as there was no temperature problem with old card.
When I am not running program or game which use a high graphic resources- cpu allright.
As soon as I start game cpu moniter shows 100% use on both cores and after a while temperature goes over 90C+.
Where is a problem? I cant really work out why graphic card exchange could cause it.
Thanks a lot.

That sounds like a background services or resource issue

I don't think the card would cause this unless you are freezing during game play

Could be something with the game that brings it up but keep in mind the gpu would get really hot too if it was the case

how's the gpu temps ? have you checked them and a 5750 is a pretty low end compared to whats out right now

Also if you can you might want to throw a couple screen shots out to us to help you better deal with the situation cpu temp resource monitor and the ccc to monitor temps i would also go as far to download cpuz to see if there other issues one more thing was the heatsink installed by you or was it bought already put together ?

GPU Temp is staying at 40C even under a gaming load? A bit odd as it should be warmer than that under load.

If so,it almost sounds as if the GPU itself is sitting at idle.

What did you have before you installed the new card?
If integrated did you disable the onboard it in the bios and uninstall the drivers?
