Ok i have a core2duo 8400 3.0 right now..I am looking to upgrade to the
Qcore 9300 2.5..The question i have is the Q6600 better than the 9300
because the level 1 and level 2 2x4mb cache ,and the 9300 is only level2
with 8mb..I know the bus is 1333 on the 9300 and 1066 on the 6600..Is the 9300 better than the 6600 is my question...i looked through this thread
http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/342-show-us-your-wei.html and didnt find anyone with the Q9300 to look at the wie index to compare..If the 6600 is better than i will go with that one

Hello Rob,
The Q9300 would be the better CPU of the two. The Q9300 has a faster FSB and uses the newer 45mm fabrication. This will more than make up for the 2 MB of extra L2 that the Q6600 has.
You can compare them here:
Intel® Core2 Quad Processor Family
Hope this helps,
Shawn
