CPU-Z 1.99 driver not signed

Looks CPU-Z v1.99 (classic & customized version) does not support windows 7 anymore as the driver is not signed, so won't install correctly and not displaying correct information. The last I have that is fully functional is v1.97, which is far enough for my build, though!

Yes, v1.99 won't load correctly. You may be right about dropping Win 7 support.

The last version available that I've found on their website that loads ok in Win 7 is v1.98.

HP 250 G7 is a budget machine
An unsigned driver has nothing to do with Windows 7 support, but is a sign of a serious problem with the developer. Failure to sign a kernel mode driver means that we can't ensure its origin and integrity, which is why Windows refuses to load them.

32 bits versions of Windows would accept them without problems, but 64 bits need a special flag to load those drivers. Not only Win7, but latter versions will fail in the very same way.

The only safe choice is to not upgrade to the broken version of the program.

I ran both v1.98 and v1.99 in Windows 7 Home (64-bit). Both ran but v1.99 does not display information correctly.

Well, I'm using the v1.97 'cause it's the customized version of... I won't say its a serious problem of the software. Let's see then if they'll reload a signed version soon.
