What kind of tasks are you wanting to do?

kinda hard to suggest what hardware would be worth getting.

If you will be using multi threaded apps, the i7 720 QM would be the choice. have a look at some benchmark comparisons:

Yes, all the i series CPUs are good. Obviously some better than others, hence your question. But between your 2 choices and criteria, I'd say it is the best choice. A Guy
