Now I'm getting desperate. What if we enter msconfig, click on startup tab, and uncheck all SAFE items for testing purposes?
**EDIT ** Also temporarily uninstall our virus scanner, remove firewall if it's not MS.
Lemur not that I don't trust you on this one... I have had the same issue 2 weeks ago with a different HDD in the same machine. In S3, if power is only going to RAM, and I am getting BSOD errors... My gut (maybe not even intellect) is saying the RAM is bad... I am also basing this a little on reading some of the reviews on the newegg link above... I have 2 start up entries, and both are related to my dinovo mini... I have NIS 2011 on the rig... I think I am going to RMA the RAM and see if some other RAM will do the trick!
LOL. No, that's fine. I guess while we're at it, you could check the voltage on the memory to make sure it's correct. But it's probably about time to swap memory.
Thats exactly what I was going to try next, remake sure the settings in BIOS for timing and voltage are correct.
