Hi all,

Had a problem lately where my graphic card driver stopped responding and crashed. Comp restart, run game, crash again. Bad cycle. To be precise this happened after i first initiated 'Dark Souls 2' - I haven't got to play after then.

I manage to find minidump file and have attached it here. For some reason i cant copy or even delete the latest dump file so I have posted the older file here.

Here are my system information:

Processor: Intel i5 3470
Board: Asrock B75-Pro3-M
Graphic card: Leadtek GTX 660ti
Graphic card Driver: Nvidia 335.23

The system was 1 year old without any problem, and I did not overclock the system.

Appreciate your help folks!

Your graphics driver is out of date.
Update it on the What's New | GeForce website.
These instructions should help:

However this dump files dates back to the 6th of may and you state on your original post that the driver version is 335.23, if so are you still getting crashes after a driver update?

Code:

    Loaded symbol image file: nvlddmkm.sys

I would also suggest running Furmark.
Stress test your graphics card with Furmark

I recommend running it for around 30 minutes

   Warning

Furmark will increase the temperature of your GPU rapidly so keep and eye on your temperatures

Hi, i have updated the driver to 335.23 but still face the same problem in reduced frequency.
This time i faced another problem - I can't copy those minidump files. it says access denied and permission is required from admin. The fact is i am the only user for this computer and i wonder what went wrong.

Appreciate if there is anything i can do the copy the minidump so i can upload onto the forum. Thanks.

You should be able to copy the minidumps onto the desktop.
Make sure you have admin rights.
