Crashing: Gotten me at my wits end.

The linux install was on a completely different drive, one that I nuked in order to give myself some room to backup my XP data. I reformatted the OS drive when I installed Windows 7.

Crashes all the ****ing time.
On some model MOB's, after BIOS updates, its absolutely necessary to load the system or optimized defaults. After updating the bios did you do this?

Sometimes it can be a lose connection on any connection, ie: hd, psu, video card. Check all connections, wired, pci/e cards, psu, ram, hd's, etc.

How about heat...
Did you mount the cpu cooler, is the heatsink seated properly?
Is the case well ventilated?
