Windows 7 crashes on boot up. It goes through the motherboard diagnostics, tells me has recently shutdown from a critical error and asks to boot in fix mode (naming may be wrong). I allow it boot in this mode or safe mode or normal mode......it goes to the Windows logo and the pc shuts down. And I don't mean a cycle shutdown....it just turns off..done.

Ideas/thoughts??

Your power switch may be faulty or not connected properly. Check the power button wires are properly connected to your motherboard.
