Crashing Problems

I am having the worst problem ever. I have a Acer Aspire M3802 and my video card is Nividia Geforce GT 220 evreything is updated. I am having a problem with all of my computer games including sims 3. I will play for about 10 minutes then my monitor shuts off and my keyboard doesnt work but my computer light is stil on. When it shuts off it makes a broken record sound. plz plz help im beggin

No it is not blue screen of death the monitor goes black and shuts off. I think that the windows updates make all of my game applications crash
