Solved Crashing with either a freeze or a BSOD playing Shadows of Mordor

I really don't know unless it could be how you have them connected. Have you tried one with the display port? could it be you are putting too much on your card? I'm at the point of just guessing right now. Your card is supposed to be able to run 2 monitors. I don't know why it can't.

Maybe try switching back. Honestly, I really don't know. Have you been monitoring your card's heat? I'm just wondering if you are putting too much on your card. 144Hz is a bit more than normal. I have a 27" 144Hz, but I really have no idea, unless you have a bad cable or a bad port. I know I had a problem a while back and switching to a new cable fixed it.

I just did the Intel test you linked me earlier and the i ran the Catzilla benchmark software. My CPU temp maxed out at 53 degrees and during the benchmark my GPU maxed out at 70 degrees at 720p.

To me that seems like a fine temp?

May I ask why? The rig you have is nothing wrong with. I have another computer with a 2600K in it and it gets good performance. Your problem seems to be the graphics, for some unknown reason.

Yeah you may :) It seems that the last thing that remains to be tested is my motherboard. I can see the logic in what you are referring to considering my gfx-card, but i've tested gpu a fair amount of times these past few weeks and it hasn't shown any errors. If the problem persists, i can rule out the motherboard+cpu (which means i can sell it) and then i'll buy a new gfx-card.

Well good on you. Congratulations. You have done well. I am going to assume it was your motherboard all along. We tested almost everything that we can test. It seems to me, the only thing remaining is the Motherboard. I would recommend an RMA on the motherboard. When you get it back you will have almost another PC. If it runs well, you will have another PC to use as a backup or another special purpose or to sell. I know you have the other PSU, CPU and I believe another set of ram and I think GPU. That's another PC, to me. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you luck. You did quite well. You were easy to work with and I enjoyed working with you, although I will admit I have less hair now than I did when we started. But well done and congratulations again. I know you are happy to have a good rig that runs pretty well. If you ever need any more help, feel free to contact me. I will be more than happy to help in any way I can.
