Crazy Question

Here is the situation. My wife wanted to have a desk top icon for one of her programs. So she went to (All Programs) and drug and dropped it to the desk top. That was great ,except she now wants it to also show up in (All Programs). How do you do that?

It took me too long to create my post... Brink beat me to it.
Maybe some info below is of use - so I'll leave it.


Next time, copy/paste the shortcut - don't drag/drop it to the desktop.

Right mouse click on the shortcut/icon that you put on her desktop...
...select copy from the context menu
...open Windows (file) Explorer
...navigate to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

...find the folder that you want the shortcut/icon to be in*
...right click on the folder of interest
...select paste from the context menu.

*If you don't see the folder of interest, look here too:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

I'm thinking next time around just right click on the Program shortcut/icon - send to - desktop shortcut.

Or just hold the ctl-key while you drag'n'drop.
