I'm desperate. I'm close to putting back Win10 in this machine (Acer Aspire ES 15) and sell it. I love my laptop but if truly "it is not meant" to have win7 then I'm more than happy to see it go, at least for something with legacy or CSM support. I'm not much of a tech guru but I'll try my best to follow the tutorial. Wish me luck, otherwise I'm selling this stupid "Windows 10 only" piece of crap.

Childs, the tutorial was made almost 4 years ago to install Win 7 on a Skylake new computer.
All I had to do was to add the USB3.x, Sata and M.2 drivers to the installation disk.
The tutorial is still valid but SIW2 has made a script to make things much easier.

Does it has a Core i3-6100U?
I helped Cris98 to install Win 7 on his Aspire E5-773
Windows 7 64-bit installation freezes on loading

It has the Intel Celeron Processor N3350 (at least that's the sticker on my laptop says). It is a mediocre 1.1GHz, one of the reasons I believe it cant handle windows10, not sure about that though, just a hunch.
Another question that I have; I also downloaded a Win7 ISO that already had additional USB3 drivers and all, but I'm still having the same problem. So how different is this ISO from your step by step instructions? Sorry for so many questions, I'm just desperate and getting lost in some tech jargon.
