Create an automatic user logout

A number of users use the computer in our facility. Each one has a dedicated user account. They have been instructed to log out of their accounts when they are through with the computer. They usually just get up and leave. This poses a problem on the next user who may be unsophisticated on computer use.

Can a batch file or something similar be place on the computer to automatically log the user off if there is not a keystroke for an adjustable time, with warnings if possible?

After talking to some people I have decided that a screensaver like program would work. The start time for this program would be set by the admin. the screen would contain a warning about what is to happen and then after a short time, typically about 30-60 seconds the screen would disappear and the selected action would take place. In this case the action is "logoff". Any ideas. Even third party.
