Hey guys, I'm having a problem here. Look at the screenshot below.

Now what I wanna do this, I wanna create a new partition of 90.4GB and 29.19GB combined together in a single partition to make a total of 119GB but I'm not able to do that. Why?

OS
MS Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
CPU
Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 @ 2.80GHz
Motherboard
Intel Corporation DG41RQ
Memory
2.0GB Single-Channel DDR2
Graphics Card(s)
EVGA 9500GT
Monitor(s) Displays
HP L1940T LCD Monitor
Screen Resolution
1280 x 1024
Ok, Somehow I got whole 119.75GB together as "free space". but now the problem is, when I click on a new volume, it says that "There is not enough space available on the disk(s) to complete this operation."

As you can see, there's a "C:" partition in the middle, you will NEVER be able to combine the two unless you delete "C:", recreate "C:" at the start of the disk, then create the 119GB partition you want...

Free Space means it hasnt been assigned a drive letter I believe.

I do agree however, you need to get the C Partition at the front of the drive first. Especially since it has the OS on it.

I do agree however, you need to get the C Partition at the front of the drive first. Especially since it has the OS on it.

The C drive doesn't actually need to be in the front (but I agree that we would all recommend that!!!). However the unallocated space [Black] does need to be adjacent to the Free space [Green].

I think what Jimbo was getting at was to enlarge the C drive to fill the unallocated spare space in front of it. Then reboot. Then shrink the newly enlarged C drive to leave the unallocated space behind it and next to the free space. Then you have the unallocated spare space where you want it without deleting the C drive. Lastly, you should now be able to join the two unallocated and free pace together....(hmm.. I think I used the word space too much).
