Create Shortcut to set Brightness in color correction of GMA 4500M?

Hi-

I use default settings in GMA4500 (brightness,etc) to watch streaming video,

But need to set Brightness to minimum (-60), in color correction tab, for browsing and all other tasks - going back and forth is a hassle! I know that ctrl-alt-F12 will open menu - but that is still several steps - each time.

I already have control panel brightness set to zero - The GMA brightness seems to be uncoupled from the control panel setting.

I would like 2 shortcuts - one sets to -60, and another restores default.

Can anybody help?

Hi Austin7, welcome to 7F!

That is a good question.

It should be as simple as creating and saving those profiles in the GMA's Control Panel, then finding the saved profile in the GMA's Folder, and sending that profile to the desktop as a shortcut. But, I haven't found how to do that yet.

I'm working with the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD IGChip, and I can't find a profile file in its Folder.
Hopefully another member will have an idea, I'll keep looking.

Thanks - I have Intel GMA 4500M. I see the available profiles to select in color management, or you can create one, but the profiles do not seem to include brightness - they only distinguish between RGB color styles - as far as I can tell.

Any help appreciated..........
