Hi there,
I have a windows 7 computer that got a virus. I no longer have the original install disc (the serial number is on the bottom) so I'm using my windows 8.1 computer to download an ISO of windows 7 home premium and I can create a bootable usb flash drive of windows 7. I figure it doesn't matter where I got the copy from because I have a proper serial number that I can enter but I did download it from a torrent. I know the ISO works because I tried installing the iso in vmware and it installs just fine.

When I use the windows usb creator tool or something called RUFUS that I found online, neither one show the windows 7 premium iso that's on my computer. I moved it to desktop and it still doesn't show up inside of either USB backup drive creator program.

I have no idea what's going on and I need help asap!

Thanks!

It does matter where you get the iso from as some are unusable and others have been modified to infect a computer with malware. This is the right place to get a legal, clean Windows 7 ISO.
