Cryostasis Demo!

EVGA gives you the chance to experience Cryostasis “The Way It’s Meant to Be Played” with this demo! Cryostasis makes full use of GPU-accelerated PhysX features on your GeForce graphics card with impressive environmental effects. Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason puts you at the Arctic Circle, drifting Russian North Pole station “Pole 21”. The main character, Alexander Nesterov, is a meteorologist, incidentally caught inside an old nuclear ice-breaker North Wind, frozen in the ice desert for decades.

Requires the latest NVIDIA driver and PhysX patch for this demo:

I can't seem to get the demo to run on win 7 7100 x64 with the latest nvidia drivers - 185.81. When I launch the game a black screen comes up , stays there for a few seconds and then the desktop comes back. I will try the listed drivers above.

I read somewhere that it is kinda no good so haven't bothered with it myself. I'm not a big fan of those games that are full of browns and dark greens and there seems to be a lot of them about.

i just dont like the 'freeze to death' thing. i went outside of that room for like 10 seconds and died. i could see that being a drawback to me playing this game.

also, it was running slow as donkey because my AV was running a scan for for some reason. what nut schedules a scan for 3 in the morning?! :p

I completed the demo but even on my GTX260 it seemed very choppy and not very playable.
