we have the some problem when using the crystal report with windows 7 or windows 7 service pack . when loading the crystal report from application it takes 14 seconds in windows 7 and windows 7 service pack where as same things happens for 3-4 seconds in the windows xp or windows 2003 server .

Ram is 2gb and os is windows service pack1.

Really could not able to find what is causing the problem in the windows 7. can anybody advice what could be the problem.
already IPV6 is disabled and certificate revocation is inchecked.

can anybody advice what could be the possible cause for this.

Thanks in advance
poreddy.

Is it possible your version of xp was 64bit?
It does make a difference with some applications.

You could see if ipv6 is getting in the way, since that's a networking function that wasn't in use in xp it could be giving issue with the software.
How to disable IP version 6 (IPv6) or its specific components in Windows 7, in Windows Vista, in Windows Server 2008 R2, and in Windows Server 2008
(just follow same steps to turn it back on if you need to)

Other than that I suggest having a look here. Where this very issue was discussed at length some time ago.

It likely has something to do with sql handling, sadly my personal experience with crystal report is fairly limited. I can think of no specific reason other than the ones already given to explain a slow down that noticeable. Hopefully someone else with more direct experience than I will happen along and help you. It's still fairly early sunday morning here in the states. So people are just waking up.
