Recently i've encountered this problem with CTRL C and V unable to copy or paste anything anywhere. Able to do so with mouse where right click copy paste works for that. CTRL F works which means ctrl button is functional. i've tried restoring to an earlier restore point, ran SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker but no errors. I still can't solve this problem.. I've clicked on all the relevant search results from google but none works for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do CTRL-C , that should place something in clipboard. Then paste by using mouse right click->paste. Works?

Right click and select copy. Then paste using CTRL-V. Works?

Right click->copy. This copies something to clipboard. That works as you said
Now copy something else using CTRL-C. Now right click->paste. Does it paste nothing, or does it paste what you copied by Right click->copy?

Open Notepad and type something with the c/C key. Does the c/C key work?

It's the keyboard. Try a different one. If a built in notebook keyboard attach a external USB. If it's an external try a different one. The keyboard is faulty.

Test keyboard on another pc... but that's to difficult.
Attach another keyboard (usb). Same problem? It's most likely a faulty laptop keyboard.

What brand and type laptop is it?
