hello all,

I've read some threads. This problem was presented back at end of 2011. I don't see any solutions.

Several people had this problem. I'm simply using a word processor ... and CTRL acts like it is held down. Only a reboot solves the problem ...

It happened once in first ten days I had this computer. Now it is the 3rd week ... and last night ... 5 instances occurred ...

Anyone know what the fix was some 8 months ago ...

Thanks Much,

Larry

I had this issue on a desktop PC. The fix was to uninstall/remove all devices listed under the keyboard section in Device Manager and then reboot :

Uninstall Device and Device Driver

Hit the + to expand keyboards, remove all devices you find there
then reboot !
