Cubase LE 6 causing BAD_POOL_HEADER, among others

I get a blue screen every time I exit out of Cubase LE 6. I don't have to have done anything with the program - a simple click to activate and exit out does the trick - and no other program seems to do this. The error message isn't always the same; BAD_POOL_HEADER is common, but I also get IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and others I can't remember off the top of my head.
I hope you guys can help! Mixing music is no fun with this always happening.

Welcome :) .

I would have liked to have the rest of the dumps, especially due to the fact you mentioned that
the bug check code isn't the same all of the time, but these are my suggestions based on the single dump file uploaded.

Code:
BugCheck A - IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a), {18, 2, 0, fffff80002f41d47}

Probably caused by : memory_corruption ( nt!MiIdentifyPfn+317 )
Please update the following drivers:

Code:
0: kd> lmvm IntcDAud
start end module name
fffff880`0637d000 fffff880`063d5000 IntcDAud
    Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\IntcDAud.sys
    Image name: IntcDAud.sys
    Timestamp: [COLOR=Red][U]Tue Jun 19 17:40:51 2012[/U][/COLOR]
Code:
0: kd> lmDvmigdkmd64
start end module name
fffff880`04c9e000 fffff880`051b91a0 igdkmd64

Update both (and other drivers the utility will offer as well) using this online utility;

Remove AVG using this removal tool | AVG Remover(64bit) 2014
I recommend installing Microsoft Security Essentials as an alternative.

Remove Intel Rapid Storage;

Arc said:
Get rid of intel rapid storage. First uninstall it from Control Panel > Programs and Features.
Then Uninstall the driver from device manager.

  1. Right click on "my computer" icon and click "manage" on the context menu.
  2. It will open the "computer management" window.
  3. Select "Device Manager" in the left pane, It will list all the existing devices up.
  4. Expand "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers" by clicking on the triangle in front of it.
  5. Select one Intel device item under it, right click, uninstall.
  6. Continue the process for all Intel items under "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"
  7. Now restart the computer. At restart, windows will auto configure the appropriate native system driver.

Once all of the above is set and done, try crashing the machine the same way as before
using Cubase, if it still bug checks enable Driver Verifier and crash the machine in the same manner
for a couple of times and upload the new dump files.

Enable Driver Verifier to monitor the drivers.
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.

   Information
Why Driver Verifier:
It puts a stress on the drivers, ans so it makes the unstable drivers crash. Hopefully the driver that crashes is recorded in the memory dump.

How Can we know that DV is enabled:
It will make the system bit of slow, laggy.

   Warning
Before enabling DV, make it sure that you have earlier System restore points made in your computer. You can check it easily by using CCleaner looking at Tools > System Restore.

If there is no points, make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.

   Tip

Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

As the quote states, let us know :) .

Thanks for the detailed response! I followed your instructions, and I triggered a crash again. I don't want to run the driver verifier tonight because I have a timed assignment to do for an online course, but here's the dump from the most recent crash.

Thanks for the feedback :) .

It's up to you, our best bet to flush out the offending driver is by using Driver Verifier,
enable it when you feel you can :) .

In the mean time i would also update this driver:

Code:
lmvm RTKVHD64

start end module name

Also can you elaborate on the USB Audio device you have, I was able to find out it's Logitech's
but not much more?
