This case was $80 off at Newegg so I thought why not. This should be interesting to build and I ordered a MoBo to go with it.

Do you plan on painting it? I don't know what it is, but I can't stand the sight of beige enclosures these days.

Where do you get beige? It says silver aluminum.

It's got a Newegg symbol superimposed on the case so I can see the beige in there.

Well that's the most beige "silver" aluminum I've ever seen.

I would scotch pad that bad boy for a industrial look taking great care in the direction of the scratching, then either leave it natural or clear coat it lightly. You can call it the "Delorean" !

Some guys told me it's a hassle to be upgrading in it. What they didn't know that I upgraded my newly built system part by part and I'm already done. I have a MoBo in shipment as well and this completes the upgrade.

Nothing wrong with the first build but I was taking advantage of sales at Newegg. Like this case, it's $80 off and a fella on another forum spotted it for me. My hat's off to him.

I saved $75 + $80 so far and I upgraded the CPU, memory, OS, HDD, DVD-RW, PSU and video card. The case and the MoBo completed it. This also gave me the parts to build another system.

The Gigabyte MoBo has a PCI slot so I can use my Soundblaster Audigy card and that replaces the onboard sound.

The 500GB HDD, the Lite-On 16x DVD-RW and the Audigy came out of my old AMD X2 3800 system (still working) so they're 4 years old and the only used parts (except the sound card) in the second build. I don't know what I'm going to do with it.

I just like to build computers so I guess you can call it a hobby.
