Hi Guys,

I'm a grad-student working in an office with about 10 people. I spend about 50% of my time at a desk and the other 50% in various places on campus (lab / analytical equipment / etc) My supervisors office is in a different place in the building and he comes across to the office about twice daily and often I'm not there when he needs to speak to me. Anyway, now that the relevant background is described...

I need some kind of screensaver that I can activate when I leave my desk that will automatically display my current calendar appointment in large letters that everyone in the office can read. This way, when I'm needed / absent, it is blindingly clear where I can be found...I understand that they could just look at my calendar themselves, but this is the lazy lazy world of academia where emails go unanswered and people have the patience of a over-sugared 6 year-old with ADHD.

Now a second issue...

I have no admin rights for my university computers...only elevated rights that allow me to install software...thus I can install a program but not copy things into the system32 folder etc.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Make a snip of your calendar page and put it into a folder. Then go to screensaver and select photos. Then browse to that calendar folder and set. Click on the dumb example:

I appreciate the suggestion but the rate at which things get added and removed to my calendar...it just wouldn't be practical.

Also I'd like the event displayed...not the whole calendar.
