Current pending sector count - Hitachi

Hi,
I have scanned my Hitachi hard drive with HD Tune Pro and it found 2 damaged blocks - in S.M.A.R.T the Current pending sector count became 2. I have used Hitachi Drive Fitness test and erased the disk. Then I scanned it with the Advanced test and it completed successfully. After that I have preinstalled my OS and scanned the drive again - this time no damaged blocks! But in S.M.A.R.T the current pending sector count is still 2?! Why is that so? Should have these sectors been reallocated to the spare area?

Have you tried this, too see if there are any files hanging about...

Yes I have tried it and it showed 0KB in bad sectors.

The hard drive has developed bad sectors you can format it, but it will only cause the hard drive to ignore those sectors however it will not solve your problem.
