Hi all.

Been trying to sort out an annoying cursor problem for a couple of weeks and cannot resolve the problem, so I hope I can explain it to you all for help.

Using Win 7 HP on my PC (Packard Bell), Firefox, the cursor suddenly hangs up. Sometime just for a couple of seconds and sometimes I have to remove the mouse. Logitech B110, from the USB port and reinsert. Sometimes this works OK and sometimes I have to switch off the OPC, leave it for a few seconds before booting up. On other occasions, for no reason at all, I get the following error message in the bottom right hand corner and the cursor freezes with the old hour glass timer:

'USB Device Not Recognized

One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message.'

Obviously, I can't click on the message, as the cursor is frozen.

Quite often I hear the USB alert, but nothing seems to be wrong anywhere.

I have rune Spybot, CCleaner, AVG AV and Tune up, Malwarebytes.

I feel I should uninstall the mouse, but Windows will not allow be to.

Has anyone ay suggestions?

Many thanks in anticipation (MTIA)
