My Toshiba laptop has a touchpad which sends the cursor where you wish. But not always! If you touch the touchpad just the wrong way, the cursor arrow is replaced by a rectangle, sometimes vertical and sometimes horizontal, and your position on the page is sent involuntarily careening to the top or bottom entirely against your will. If I didn't know better I'd think this is a virus but I believe Microsoft programmed this horror  into Windows 7. My question is how I can disable it.
