bigmck be thankful you even get a chance to wear the FNG badge as some of us only had it for mere minutes, days or hours or were even passed over if post count was very close to the next inductee.

Myself I thought of the FNG badge akin to a right of passage that is in some ways more coveted than the supporter badge because the right to proudly wear it is fleeting and only happens once.
