First, any change to get a transparent glancing orb of this logo:

Would it be too much work to create it all new, I mean the Windows 8 style and color orb with world map inside, and text AGMnet.

The text can be a bit smaller if needed, basically it is one word, written with first three letters capital, three last letters small. It can be divided to two parts. The first three letters AGM is the important part, focus.

Also, I notice now that the red font color is not good on blue.

Guys, whatever you can come up with. Most important at the moment is the orb of the original logo.
