I finally worked out how to embed a GIF file into a sig. All the tuts I found were telling me how to create a GIF, not how to actually use one in an image. And the one I found that did, didn't work properly, I had to muck about a bit.

Please click on the image to view the animation. Note that this isn't intended as a usable sig, merely a test-bed for the GIF experiment.

Further development of the EF sig I posted earlier. Betty's dress now has the sparkles it should have had.

It's a fiddly job getting these GIFs to work, but I'm getting the hang of it now. The first few attempts were disasters as the text wanted to move in time with the GIF. I fixed it by separating the GIF and the rest of the sig with a layer. I've no idea whether it's 'correct' but it worked. :)

I'm off to try it on EF, then it's time to get Betty's dress working on the SF sig... :geek:

EDIT: Apparently you can't use animated sigs on EF... :cry:
