Custom Made Sig and Avatar [15]

So how do I earn the GFX tag? I don't want it handed to me but I like shiny things and I want another tag. Is there a criteria or does the powers that be just have to see enough of your work to give you the go ahead?

Well firstly you have to send in 3 stool samples, mine were sent back telling me I had insufficient data & that after DNA testing I was pregnant with triplets (Dennis sent in Dinosaur fossilized poop which he still maintains was his own :shock: but were are still waiting for the carbon dating tests to come back) , so I then made the best 450 signatures I could make which turned out that "Bill AKA "Just a Guy" had them all in his rotation, so I tried to make a couple of walls, these came out quite nice and I had a few nice comments ... but sadly I still didn't get the badge, bribery didn't work either as John still maintains that he never received my money order, although I'm sure that I've paid for the last 2 years hosting of "Seven Forums" .... but all Joking aside just keep doing what you do pal and I'm sure that given time the peeps on the GFX team will take note and you may be voted in

I send stool samples into everything I sign up for online. Doesn't everyone else??

Cool, now I'll give it a try. While I was reading about adding sig pics I thought I read that gifs won't work but now that I re-read it, it seems that you just can't upload it as a gif?

If you are only allowed 600x100 and upload a gif sized 650x150, it will change it. As long as you stick to Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 650 by 150 pixels or 250.0 KB (whichever is smaller). Which is within your permission level, it will stay a gif

LOL, I even googled old fonts and found this one..

edit: Looking at it again, I needed to make the font bigger. I was zoomed in a bit to clean up the edges after I erased the old sign and didn't notice how small it would be. Oh well.

I wouldn't focus too much on the videos content,
Except allot of the examples of the text were blending into the object they were on,
The actual text content is not that important it's just a crazy youtube video
Which was posted in a old rules thread in the gfx area,
I wish I could quote the rules but they might be a secrete but would most likely be censored in the public forum areas,

Yeah I tried to get it blended in by using the old photo and using the color selector to match the sign and font color. It looked too plain at first so I found a paper brush and set the opacity really low so that it added the "old" effect to it but I never really tried to blend the text in other than that.

Im downloading a free copy of 3ds Max 2015 right now (student privileges baby!) to try some other fun stuff. As a side note, if you are a student or have an edu email account, Autodesk gives away some RIDICULOUS software for free.

Yea large files should probably go in the walls section,
Never hurts to get discounts especially freeware
careful where you download fonts though
Dafont.com is pretty safe,

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm always looking for nice fonts since I also do a little web design.
